Automation Workshop includes the Compute File Checksum Action that calculates file hashes in the most popular formats, such as SHA-256, MD5, CRC32, and more. Hashes or checksums are used to verify file integrity and to ensure that file data has not been modified.

Usage examples

- A file hash or checksum can be calculated automatically after a file is downloaded from the remote FTP server or Amazon S3 file storage to ensure its integrity.
