Retrieve information on a file located in a directory on a remote server. The remote file information includes the file name, last modified date, size, permissions and owner. The retrieved information is stored as a Variable Wizard value that can be used by the following Actions within the same Task.

Use connection | Select an existing connection to use for file information retrieving. If there are no defined connections, the new connection window will be opened to establish a connection to FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or DigitalOcean Spaces server. |
Variable Wizard | Use dynamic data input—substitute a parameter from a file, web, connected Trigger, other Actions, date and time presets, etc. |
Interconnect
- Dynamic variables & Events of the Remote File Information. Access the filename along with its full path, modification timestamp, and size. Additionally, retrieve the file owner and Linux permissions when interacting with SFTP or SCP servers. Events detailing successful or unsuccessful retrieval of file information are automatically logged.

- It is possible to use the Remote File Information Action to check if a file exists—use the Advanced Fallback Options to ignore the error code
