FileTweak FAQ:

  • Q: What are the minimum system requirements?
  • A: Febooti FileTweak works on all Microsoft Windows 32 and 64-bit versions.
  • Q: Why the files time doesn't change properly?
  • A: Not all file systems can record creation and last access time, and not all file systems record them in the same manner. For example, on Windows NT FAT, creation time has a resolution of 10 milliseconds, write time has a resolution of 2 seconds, and access time has a resolution of 1 day. On NTFS, access time has a resolution of 1 hour. The precision of the time for a file in a FAT file system is 2 seconds. Read more about Last accessed date.
  • Q: How to change file attributes on a CD or DVD?
  • A: If you have a CD-RW in standard mode, there is no way to change files on CD. But, using DLA (Drive Letter Access) or similar standard, there is feature to act with CD drives like with files on your local disk. To use this feature, you must use DLA driver from your CD-RW hardware manufacturer. Most of them come with your CD device. If not, try to look at hardware manufacturer web site. For HP CD drives visit HP Desktop PCs - Drive Letter Access site. Another technology is NERO InCD.
