Overview
The error message indicates that there was a problem processing text data (or accessing the specified file to parse its contents) element by element.
Cause
Usually, text data is provided by Read from File or Split Text Action. The file might be inaccessible due to various reasons:
- The specified path does not exist.
- The specified file does not exist.
- User's credentials do not grant access to specified folder or file.
- Network path or server can not be reached.
Event examples
See some examples of the Failed due to error Event messages:
- Action "For Each" failed.
- Action "For Each" failed due to "separator is empty".
Solution
Verify that the path and file exists and is accessible. Ensure that the proper user credentials are specified in the Run As tab of the Task. If Action is failing due to an empty separator, make sure to select one from the list of available separator options.
