Automation Workshop includes Question dialog Action, that mediates user interaction with automated processes and allows deciding the Task execution scenario based on user choice.
The Action displays a question or any other text in a custom titled question dialog window and requires user to choose from Yes, No and Cancel options. Both question window title and contents can be either preconfigured with fixed values (same question always) or generated automatically by using dynamic variables from Triggers, other Actions, text files or system parameters (context-dependent question text).
A graphical icon can chosen from the list of available options to visually emphasize the question dialog window. Depending on user selection, the Task can be continued normally, continued with particular Action, simply stopped or stopped with error.
|Dialog||Specify fixed or context-sensitive question dialog window title and contents.|
|Behavior||Choose default answer, configure automatic continuation and change button functions.|
|Options||Select question dialog icon and whether to show the question window on top.|
|Errors||Choose which Action errors will lead to On Error behavior.|
|On Error||Set the number of retries performed upon Action error; specify report email From and To addresses, run a different Task, switch to another Action of the same Task or stop the Task entirely.|
