Options tab of Rename file Action allows configuring Action specific parameters such as renaming subfolders and overwriting destination files.

| Options properties | Description |
| Include subfolders | Enable checkbox to rename files also in subfolders of specified folder. |
| Overwrite destination files | If enabled, overwrites destination files that have names matching with new names of files being renamed. |
| Only if source file is newer | If enabled, only files older than those being renamed will be overwritten. |
| Do not overwrite read-only files | Enable to do not overwrite read-only destination files. |
| This Action is enabled | Action is performed only if checkbox is enabled. Action can be disabled by removing the mark from This Action is enabled checkbox. When disabled, Rename file Action will neither proceed with file renaming nor process email or other reports. |
