GUID / UUID (Random category in Variable Wizard) generates a random Global Unique ID—a unique text string with extremely low probability to be generated ever again.

Format Specify whether GUID / UUID will be composed of uppercase, lowercase or mixed characters.
  • Default · returns standard GUID with default formatting.
  • Lowercase · forces GUID to be returned in lowercase.
  • Uppercase · forces GUID to be returned in uppercase.
Brackets Adds curly bracket characters {} before and after GUID sequence.
Example: {45C41B49-86E8-4b7e-A490-4FF0FC67587D}
No dashes Specifies that GUID fields will be merged together by removing dashes characters - that normally separate various GUID data fields.
Example: 45C41B4986E84b7eA4904FF0FC67587D
Preview Shows random GUID generated on basis of specified options.
