The Google Cloud Storage Watcher Trigger is used to monitor file changes in a remote directory on GCS platform. Google Cloud Storage Watcher relies on the Connect to Google Cloud Storage Action that establishes connection with the Google Cloud Storage server via a secure HTTPS connection.

Also, watch in subdirectories Google Cloud Storage Watcher will monitor for changes not only in the specified directory, but also in its subdirectories.
Monitor files Watch for new, existing, modified, and deleted files.
Monitor directories Watch for new, existing, modified, and deleted directories.
Use connection Google Cloud Storage Watcher relies on the Connect to Google Cloud Storage Action to establish connection with the Google Cloud Storage server. If the multiple Connect to Google Cloud Storage Actions are used in a Task, a user can choose which connection will be used to watch for file and directory changes.
Advanced Choose advanced connection settings to select Actions to perform before connecting to the Google Cloud Storage server to monitor remote files and directories.

Interconnect

  • Dynamic variables & Events of the Google Cloud Storage Watcher. Retrieve filenames and all path details from the monitored cloud storage location that triggered the Task execution. Additionally, log all events related to connecting and triggering with a cloud service provider (GCS), including detailed information about both successful and failed events.
