Overview
The error indicates that Automation Workshop Manager has failed to save necessary data into Windows registry. As a consequence changes made in Automation Workshop will not be saved.
Possible cause is that user account that is running Automation Workshop does not have necessary access rights to registry. Make sure the Service is running.

Solution
Verify whether the user which executes Automation Workshop has full access rights to Windows registry. If Automation Workshop Service is not running, execute Automation Workshop with administrator privileges (right-click the shortcut and choose Run As Admin from context menu).
