Overview
The error indicates that Read from File Action failed to read data from the specified file.
Cause
Possible causes include an invalid file name or path, a file that does not exist, insufficient read permissions for the user account running Automation Workshop, or an inaccessible local or network location.
Solution
Verify whether specified path or file name does not contain characters that are not allowed in file name. Check if file exists in specified path.
Login with administrator account to set appropriate permissions. To set permissions, open Security tab in specified folder properties, choose user account on which Automation Workshop is executed and mark necessary checkboxes. Verify if source drive and location is accessible.
SMB signing required?
The device hosting the share may not support SMB signing or may not have it enabled. Enable SMB signing on the server or NAS if possible. Alternatively, the requirement can be relaxed on the affected computer, but this reduces protection and should only be used on trusted networks.
