Specify the type of information to be logged and the message text. Available message types are information, warning and error. Specifying appropriate message type may facilitate its filtering in Log Manager. Message text can be both fixed or flexibly based on dynamic Variable Wizard values.

Message Specify the message text to be logged.
Type Specify the type of the message to be logged:
  • Information · commonly designates the successful completion of operation.
  • Warning · indicates that the process may have experienced some error.
  • Error · normally indicates the failure of the process.
Variable WizardVariable Wizard buttonUse dynamic data input—substitute a parameter from a file, web, connected Trigger, other Actions, date and time presets, etc.

Interconnect

  • Dynamic variables & Events of the Write in Service Log. Retrieve the entry text and its event type. Additionally, information, warning, and error events, along with the specified custom text, are recorded and displayed in the Log Pane.
