Overview
The error indicates that the Save Webpage Action failed to retrieve, process, or save the specified webpage. It may be preceded by additional error messages that provide more detailed information about the cause of the failure.

- Action "Save Webpage" failed for "https://www.example.com/catalog/archive2025/" with error: failed to save file "C:\WebArchive\catalog\index.html". Cannot create a file when that file already exists. [os:183; aw:52]
- Action "Save Webpage" failed for "www.example.net/archive/latest/" with error: failed to load file "C:\WebArchive\archive\index.html". The system cannot find the path specified. [os:3; aw:51]

Internet and web-related Actions can encounter a wide range of errors originating from the local system, network, or remote service. Depending on the configuration and operation, additional Event messages may report general, authentication and OAuth, SSL/TLS, file, connection, and other related errors.
For the Save Webpage Action, a failure occurs when the webpage itself cannot be retrieved, processed, or stored locally—for example, when the host cannot be resolved, required local files or folders are unavailable, or the saved webpage cannot be created.
Problems affecting individual supporting resources are reported as warnings instead, allowing the Action to preserve as much of the webpage as possible.
Solution
Review the error details and any preceding Event messages to determine the cause of the failure. Verify the source URL, network connectivity, Web Profile settings, authentication, and other request options as applicable. Also ensure that the destination folder exists and that Automation Workshop has sufficient permissions and available disk space to save the webpage.
Note
Save Webpage attempts to preserve as much content as possible. A problem with an individual supporting resource does not necessarily fail the Action and may instead produce a warning Event. This error is reported when the failure prevents the webpage operation itself from completing.
