Interconnect

  • Create Registry Key integration and auditing—Variables (dynamic data) and Events (recorded activity). Access the name of the created Registry key. Additionally, events indicating the success or failure of the key creation are logged.

Note

  • The difference between running the Automation Workshop 32-bit and 64-bit versions on 64-bit Windows is that some Windows Registry calls by the 32-bit Automation Workshop are transparently redirected to locations under \Wow6432Node. For example:
…if a Registry call is made to access the Registry path:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software
…the 32-bit Automation Workshop is redirected to the location:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node
