Overview
The error message Could not duplicate file indicates that the Duplicate Folder Action has failed to copy a file while duplicating the folder.
Solution
Verify whether the destination location does not contain files or folders that have the same names as contents in folder being duplicated. Also, ensure that the destination folder is accessible for writing, is not located on read-only media and has enough free space.
SMB signing required?
The device hosting the share may not support SMB signing or may not have it enabled. Enable SMB signing on the server or NAS if possible. Alternatively, the requirement can be relaxed on the affected computer, but this reduces protection and should only be used on trusted networks.
