Cause

A required privilege is not held by the client message is usually caused when changing the default Service account from the SYSTEM to a less privileged regular user account.

Caused by Pipe?

Errors indicating a closed or ended pipe connection may occur when Tasks are run under a user account (via Run As settings) that has been logged off. When Windows logs off a user, it closes/kills all related processes including Automation Workshop Agent.

To avoid these errors, it is recommended to create a separate user account and run your automated workflows using that account. This ensures that the process remains active even when the original user is logged off.

The issue you are experiencing may be already fixed in the latest version of Automation Workshop. Upgrade process is very quick and simple. All your existing Tasks will continue to work. In most cases a reboot will not be required.

If updating to the latest version didn't solve the problem, please contact our support. For quicker diagnostics of the issue, please provide the Task file (use Export feature from the File menu) and service.log file along with the problem description.
