Event ID · 320490

"Could not connect to SFTP server"

Overview

The error message indicates that SFTP Watcher Trigger failed to connection to the remote server. Connection is not established. Any file monitoring on remote server will not be performed until reconnection attempt is made.

Solution

SFTP Watcher uses credentials from associated Connect to SFTP Action, and Event 320400 explains in greater detail on how to fix this connection problem.

Ensure that the server's fingerprint matches the one specified in the advanced fingerprint options. For instance, if a Task or connection Action is reused (copied), the old server fingerprints are also copied, likely causing an error due to mismatch. Additionally, note that using the Test connection button automatically populates the server's fingerprint fields.
