Some modern browsers support navigation bar - a set of quick links that can be used directly from browser, though only when a website provides the right associations between navigation bar buttons and corresponding web pages.
The underlying principle of navigation bar workings is rather simple. Upon loading web page browser gets the necessary information to enable navigation bar buttons associated with certain web pages of particular website.
When present, navigation bar facilitates locating particular key sections of website and allows efficient browsing through them. When accustomed, user may find navigation bar to be an effective supplement to other browser controls. Currently, navigation bar is supported by Opera, Mozilla and Lynx browsers.
