-IP switch allows to specify which Internet connection should be used when sending command line mail.
febootimail -IP 10.0.10.25
febootimail -IP second.net
In some cases multiple network cards are used within single computer for security, traffic routing purposes or to make multiple simultaneous Internet connections available for increased stability or other purposes. Every network card has its own IP address bound to it or, alternatively, IP address is dynamically assigned when connecting to Internet.
C:\>febootimail -IP 192.168.25.95 -SMTP outgoing.email.server.com -FROM email@example.com -TO firstname.lastname@example.org -MSG send command line mail through specified connection
When using multiple Internet connections, it might be handy to specify which particular one will be used for sending command line mail (e.g. the fastest one, with more stable SMTP server or preferable for other reasons).
