email precedence - junk, list, bulk e-mail type

-PRECEDENCE switch specifies email type and the way it will be processed by various systems. Besides standard values, namely bulk, junk and list, any custom value can be used if necessary.

Command syntax:
  • febootimail -PRECEDENCE list
  • febootimail -PRECEDENCE bulk

Email precedence is a tag in email header that specifies e-mail type, be it mail delivered to the list, bulk mail, junk mail or in other, custom way. Many filtering systems on email servers and in email clients of end user use precedence tag to handle email messages appropriately (according to defined rules).

C:\>febootimail -SERVER smtp.server.com -FROM jack@sender.com -TO john@recipient.com -PRECEDENCE list -MSG sending dos e-mail using precedence tag

It might be important to set appropriate precedence tag to obey the rules of email Netiquette, which in turn might be useful to avoid being considered as a spammer.
