Service startup is taking longer than expected

OVERVIEW.
Upon startup Automation Workshop service reads various settings and Task parameters in order to initialize. During this phase the service does not respond to communication requests of Automation Workshop manager. The warning is shown if service initialization routine takes considerably long time.

SOLUTION.
If service startup is frequently taking longer than expected, the possible reasons are that either there is very large number of Tasks that summarily take long time to initialize, or the system is slow or heavily loaded that leads to slower service initialization.
