Specify files and folders for automatically changing their date and time. File and folder creation, modification and last accessed date supported.

File Use file and folder name, mask or Variable Wizard to specify files and folders whose date and time will be changed to selected values upon executing the Action · Learn file masks and wildcards
Set date with Choose simple or advanced date input.
  • Simple method · provides built-in calendar for date and time input.
  • Advanced method · allows using dynamic Variable Wizard values or manually input the date and time as dash-separated date and time value. Dashed format specifies year-month-date-hour-minutes-seconds as a dash-separated values, for example:
    2020-11-27-17-45-00
    Full format (with milliseconds, microseconds and nanoseconds):
    YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS-mmmnnnN
Creation date Creation date indicates original file creation date. Mark the checkbox to provide a new creation date that will be applied to specified files.
Modification date Modification date indicates date and time of last file's modification. Mark the checkbox to provide a new modification date that will be applied to specified files.
Last accessed date Accessed date indicates the date and time of last read or write access to file. Mark the checkbox to provide a new accessed date that will be applied to specified files.
BrowseBrowse buttonUse Browse to select a particular file or folder on local disk, network share on LAN (local area network), etc.
Variable WizardVariable Wizard buttonUse dynamic data input—substitute a parameter from a file, web, connected Trigger, other Actions, date and time presets, etc.

Interconnect

  • Dynamic variables & Events of the Set File Date & Time. Access the most recent file with modified timestamps, and in cases where timestamps were changed on multiple files, access variables that include a list of these files and the count of files in the list. Additionally, events detailing successfully modified files or failures in modification are recorded.
