automated task scheduling with Rename file attributes

File attributes settings work as both positive and negative filtering. By default file attributes are not taken into consideration when renaming files; however, attributes can be configured to include only files with explicitly specified attributes, excluding all the rest.

Attributes propertiesDescription
AttributesOnly files matching the specified attribute pattern will be renamed.
  • Shaded attribute matches any file regardless of its attribute.
  • Check marked attribute matches files only if they have this attribute as set.
  • Empty attribute checkbox matches files only if they do not have this attribute.
