Automation Workshop includes Input dialog Action, that is designed to mediate basic human interaction with automated Tasks by requiring the manual input of some text, number, data or relevant value.
Input Dialog Action displays a message in a custom titled window and requires user to enter required value or confirm some pre-configured or automatically generated one. All three parameter fields, namely, Title, Message to display and Default value support dynamic values, thus providing an option for automatic rendering of entire Input Dialog window. Automatic value input upon user inactivity can also be enabled.
|Dialog||Provide input dialog window title, message text and, optionally, a default input value. All parameter inputs support dynamic Variable Wizard values.|
|Behavior||Specify amount of time and default button for automatic continuation and choose functions for both OK and Cancel buttons.|
|Options||Select message window icon, whether to show the input dialog on top and set text / password masking and multiple line input options.|
|Errors||Choose which Action errors will lead to On Error behavior.|
|On Error||Set number of retries performed upon Action error; specify report email From and To addresses, run a different Task, switch to another Action of the same Task or stop the Task entirely.|
